Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check output waveform between air mix door motor (driver side) harness connector and ground with the oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
GO TO 3.
- CHECK INSTALLATION OF AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE)
Check air mix door motor (driver side) is properly installed. Refer to Exploded View .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace air mix door motor (driver side). Refer to Removal and Installation - Air Mix Door Motor (Driver Side) .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) COMMUNICATION SIGNAL CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect air mix door motor (driver side) and A/C auto amp. connector.
- Check continuity between air mix door motor (driver side) harness connector and A/C auto amp. harness connector.
