Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to Recycle Refrigerant .
  2. Remove core support cover. Refer to Exploded View .
  3. Remove front air duct. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove front under cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Remove the high-pressure pipe bolt from the high-pressure and low-pressure pipe.
    CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.
  6. Remove the high-pressure pipe bolt from the condenser pipe assembly.
    CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.
  7. Remove clip that retains the high-pressure pipe.
  8. Remove the high-pressure pipe.
