Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove clips (A), then remove the core support cover (1).

- Remove clips (A) and remove intake air duct splashguard (1).
- Remove bolts (A) from engine undercover (1).

- Remove the front fender protector side covers (RH/LH). Refer to Exploded View .
- Partially remove front fender protector. Refer to Exploded View .
- Remove front fascia bolt (A) from front fascia (1).

NOTE: LH shown above, RH similar - To release turn fasteners, insert suitable tool into slot between turn fastener (A) and headlamp (1) and rotate as shown below.

- Disconnect the harness connectors from the following:
- Camera (if equipped).
- Sonar sensors (if equipped). Refer to Removal and Installation - Front Sonar Sensors .
- Fog lamps (RH/LH). Refer to Exploded View (LED HEADLAMP) or Exploded View (HALOGEN HEADLAMP).
- Remove the front bumper fascia.CAUTION: When removing front bumper fascia, two operators are needed to prevent damage.
- Remove the following from the front bumper fascia after removing (if necessary):
- Sonar sensors (if equipped). Refer to Removal and Installation - Front Sonar Sensors .
- Fog lamps (RH/LH). Refer to Removal and Installation (LED HEADLAMP) or Removal and Installation (HALOGEN HEADLAMP).
- Front grille. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove front energy absorber (if necessary).
- Remove horns (high/low) (if necessary). Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the bolts (A) and then remove bumper upper retainer (1) and bumper stay retainer (2) (if necessary).
