Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the air duct and resonator assembly and the air cleaner case (upper). Refer to Exploded View .
  3. Remove timing chain, (primary) only. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove oil pan (upper). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Remove the oil pump assembly.
