Idler Arm

Removal

Set the front wheels in the straight-ahead position.
Remove the front under cover. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Remove the cotter pin (A) and nut (B) from the relay rod. Separate the idler arm from the relay rod using suitable tool. Discard the cotter pin.

Remove the nuts (A), bolts (B) and the idler arm (1) from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Do not reuse cotter pins.

Tighten the fasteners to specification. Refer to Exploded View - Steering Linkage .
