Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR RELATED DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and check for DTC P24D1 - 00 being current or past on the CONSULT screen.

    Is applicable DTC detected as current or past?

    YES

    • A malfunction has been detected in the after treatment particulate matter sensor. Replace the after treatment particulate matter sensor. Refer to Exploded View .
    • GO TO 2

    NO

    Refer to Intermittent Incident .

  2. ERASE CURRENT DTC 
    1. Using CONSULT, erase "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    2. Operate the engine within the "Conditions for setting the DTC".
    3. Using CONSULT, check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.

    Is P24D1 - 00 DTC current?

    YES

    Return to Diagnosis Procedure. Refer to DTC Description .

    NO

    Repair complete.
