Stop Lamp Switch (With Led Rear Combination Lamps)

  1. CHECK STOP LAMP SWITCH 
    1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect stop lamp switch connector E38.
    3. Check the continuity of stop lamp switch.

      Stop lamp switch terminals

      Condition

      Continuity

      1 - 2

      Stop lamp switch ON

      (Brake pedal depressed)

      Yes

      Stop lamp switch OFF

      (Brake pedal released)

      No

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    Inspection End.

    NO

    Replace the stop lamp switch. Refer to Exploded View .
