DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 

    If DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test:

    1. Start vehicle and accelerate to 88 km/h (55 MPH) for 2 minutes.
      CAUTION: Always drive vehicle at safe speed.
    2. Perform coast down event from 88 km/h (55 MPH) to 72 km/h (45 MPH) for 2 minutes.
    3. Accelerate to 88 km/h (55 MPH) for 20 seconds.
    4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for 21 times.
    5. Check 1st trip DTC.

    Is P242B-00 DTC detected?

    YES

    Proceed to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    Inspection End.
