DTC Confirmation Procedure

CAUTION:
Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
- PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" is previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 25 seconds before performing the next test.
GO TO 2 .
- CHECK DTC DETECTION
- Clear the DTC.
- Start the engine and wait for at least 5 seconds.
- Stop vehicle and maintain the following conditions for 2 seconds or more.
Selector lever
: P position
Vehicle speed
: 0 km/h(mph)
- Drive vehicle and maintain the following conditions for 2 seconds or more.
Selector lever
: P position
Gear position
: 2nd
- Stop the vehicle.
- Check the DTC.
Is "P0770" detected?
YES
Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
NO
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
