DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. Preconditioning 

    If "DTC Confirmation Procedure" Has Been Previously Conducted, Always Turn Ignition Switch Off And Wait At Least 10 Seconds Before Conducting The Next Test.

    GO TO STEP 2  .

  2. Check DTC Detection 

    SYMBOL Consult

    1. Turn The Ignition Switch Off.
      NOTE: Wait At Least 10 Seconds After Turning Ignition Switch Off.
    2. Start The Engine.
      NOTE: Wait At Least 10 Seconds After Starting The Engine.
    3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" Mode Of "ABS".

    Is DTC "C1118" Detected?

    Yes

    "C1118" Is Displayed As "CRNT": Proceed To Diagnosis Procedure. Refer To Diagnosis Procedure .

    Yes

    "C1118" Is Displayed As "PAST": Inspection End (Erase "Self Diagnostic Result" Of "ABS").

    No

    To Check Malfunction Symptom Before Repair: Refer To Intermittent Incident .

    No

    Confirmation After Repair: Inspection End.
