DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 

    If DTC P1612 is displayed with DTC U1000 (for BCM) or U1010 (for BCM), first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC U1000 (for BCM) or U1010 (for BCM).

    Is applicable DTC detected?

    YES

    Perform diagnosis of applicable. U1000 (for BCM): Refer to DTC Description . U1010 (for BCM): Refer to DTC Description .

    NO

    GO TO 2 .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 

    SYMBOL CONSULT

    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check DTC in "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "ENGINE".

    Is DTC detected?

    YES

    Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

    NO

    Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
