Disassembly and Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the windage tray. Refer to Exploded View .
  2. Remove the bolts (A) from the oil pump suction tube (2) and remove the tube.

    CAUTION: Do not reuse the O-ring (1).
  3. Remove the bolts (A) and remove the lubricating oil pump (1) from the block stiffening plate (2).

  4. Remove the threaded plug (3) from the plunger bore (A).

  5. Remove the oil pressure regulator spring (2) and the oil pressure regulator (1).
  6. Remove the threaded plug (C) and remove the oil check valve spring (B) and oil check valve (A) from the block stiffening plate.

    CAUTION: Do not reuse the O-ring (1).
