Removal and Installation: Removal

Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to Recycle Refrigerant .
Remove power steering pump assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Remove the cowl top. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Remove coolant overflow tube (A) from clips.

Remove coolant overflow reservoir bolt (B).
Set coolant overflow reservoir (1) aside.
Remove the upper torque rod. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Remove bolt (A) that retains the high-pressure pipe to the expansion valve.

CAUTION: Cap or wrap the joint of the pipe with a suitable material such as vinyl tape to avoid the entry of air.
Remove the bolt (A) that retains the high-pressure pipe to the condenser pipe.
