Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
The upper nuts of the shock absorber may differ in size. Tighten the upper nuts to the following specification:

M8 nuts: |
25 N.m (2.6 kg-m, 18 ft-lb) |
|
M10 nuts: |
45 N.m (4.6 kg-m, 33 ft-lb) |
- Perform the final tightening of the rear shock absorber lower nut and bolt under unladen conditions with tires on level ground. Refer to Exploded View .
