Diagnosis Procedure

With CONSULT

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Self Diagnostic Results" in "METER/M&A".

Is any DTC detected?

YES

Check DTC detected item. Refer to DTC Index .

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Check voltage between combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector terminals.

   			Ignition switch: OFF	0 V
   	33		Ignition switch: ON	Battery voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

Voltage is kept at 0 V: GO TO 3.

NO

Voltage is kept at battery voltage: GO TO 4.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect combination switch (spiral cable).
3. Disconnect combination meter connector.
4. Check continuity between combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector terminals and combination meter harness connector terminals.

5. Also check short circuit in harness.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

NO

Repair or replace damaged parts.

Check continuity between combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector terminal and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

NO

Repair or replace damaged parts.

Check combination switch (spiral cable). Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

NO

Repair or replace damaged parts.

Check paddle shifter.

• Paddle shifter (up): Refer to Component Inspection .
• Paddle shifter (down): Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Inspection .

NO

Repair or replace damaged parts.
