Component Function Check

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Shift the selector lever to "D" position.
3. Check that O/D OFF indicator turns ON/OFF when overdrive control switch is operated.

Is the inspection results normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

NO

GO TO 2.

1. Start the engine.
2. Drive the vehicle.
3. Maintain the following conditions.

   Shift position	: "D" position
   Vehicle speed	: Constant vehicle speed of 30 km/h or more on the flat road

4. Check the engine speed when overdrive control switch is operated.

Is the engine speed changed?

YES

Check O/D OFF indicator. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

NO

Check overdrive control switch. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .
