Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT : Removal & Installation .
  2. Remove resonator A. Refer to AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT : Exploded View .
  3. Remove the bolt and reposition the radiator hose (upper) from the radiator core support.
  4. Remove the CVT fluid charging pipe. Refer to Exploded View (AWD) or Exploded View (FWD).
  5. Disconnect the harness connectors from the cooling fan assembly.
  6. Remove CVT fluid cooler hose A retainer from cooling fan assembly.
  7. Release harness retainers from cooling fan assembly.
  8. Remove bolt and remove the cooling fan assembly.
    CAUTION: Be careful to not damage cooling fan assembly or surrounding components when removing cooling fan assembly.
