- Place the ignition switch in the ON position.
CAUTION:
Do not start the engine.
- Release the parking brake.
CAUTION:
If the parking brake cannot be released, release it manually. Perform the "INSTRUCTIONS FOR RELEASING PARKING BRAKE WHERE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH CANNOT BE USED". Refer to Work Procedure .
- Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
- Disconnect the battery negative terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation
.
- Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation
.
- Disconnect the harness connector from the electric parking brake control module.
- Remove the nuts and the electric parking brake control module.
CAUTION:
Do not drop removed parts.
