Diagnosis Procedure

Perform the trouble diagnosis for electric parking brake control module power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

NO

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

CONSULT

1. Turn the ignition switch OFF to ON.
   CAUTION: Be sure to wait for 10 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch OFF.
2. Repeat the electric parking brake switch operation (pull and push) five times.
3. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "EHS/PKB".

Is DTC detected?

YES

Check the DTC. Refer to DTC Index .

NO

GO TO 3.

CONSULT

1. Select "METER/M&A" and "Data Monitor" according to this order.
2. Check the following monitor item. Refer to Physical Values .
   • "E-PKB warning lamp"

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace the combination meter. Refer to COMBINATION METER : Removal & Installation .

NO

Replace the electric parking brake control module. Refer to ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE CONTROL MODULE : Removal & Installation .
