Function

1.

IPDM E/R (Intelligent Power Distribution Module Engine Room)

• Controls the integrated relay according to the request (via CAN communication) from BCM.
• Performs the auto stop control of the front wiper.
• Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

2.

BCM (Body Control Module)

• Judges the each switch status by the combination switch (wiper and washer switch) reading function.
• Requests (via CAN communication) the front wiper relay and the front wiper high relay ON to IPDM E/R.
• Refer to Component Location for detailed component location.

3.

Combination meter

• Transmits the vehicle speed signal to BCM via CAN communication
• Refer to Component Location (FWD MODELS WITH KR20DDET), Component Location (FWD MODELS WITH PR25DD) or Component Location (AWD MODELS WITH PR25DD) for detailed component location.

4.

Combination switch

(wiper and washer switch)

• Combination switch (wiper and washer switch): Transmits the status of the combination switch (wiper and washer switch) to BCM.
• Washer switch: Refer to Component Location  for detailed component location.

Washer fluid level switch
