XM Self-Diagnosis: Notes

NOTE:
This diagnostic screen checks the audio unit's XM radio reception level. To check the XM reception, do the following:
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Select XM1 mode.
- Make sure the audio system is turned off, then turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Push and hold the preset No. 3 and No. 6 buttons.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Continue holding the buttons for about 5 seconds, then release the buttons.
- Press and release preset No. 1 button to read the error code.

ERROR 05 NO XM ACTIVATION The subscription may have expired. Contact XM Radio at 800-852-9696. ERROR 06 NO XM AUTHORIZATION Contact XM Radio at 800-852-9696. ERROR 14 ANTENNA NOT CONNECTED / NO SIGNAL Refer to Error code: XM ANTENNA is displayed; - With AcuraLink (see ERROR CODE: XM ANTENNA IS DISPLAYED (WITH ACURALINK) )

ERROR 24 ANTENNA SHORTED / NO SIGNAL Refer to Error code: XM ANTENNA is displayed; - With AcuraLink (see ERROR CODE: XM ANTENNA IS DISPLAYED (WITH ACURALINK) )

ERROR 55 HARDWARE FAILURE (CONDITIONAL ACCESS FAILURE) There is an internal failure. Replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) (see ACURALINK CONTROL UNIT (XM RECEIVER) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) or the XM receiver (see XM RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ). ERROR 65 HARDWARE FAILURE (CONDITIONAL ACCESS FAILURE) There is an internal failure. Replace the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) (see ACURALINK CONTROL UNIT (XM RECEIVER) REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) or the XM receiver (see XM RECEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ). - To end the XM self-diagnosis, turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
