DTC 199: Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) unit Programming Error

NOTE:
- This DTC is indicated when a ACC unit update is not complete.
- Do not turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) while updating the ACC unit. If you turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) before completion, the ACC unit will be damaged.
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS ).
- Do the ACC unit update procedure (see ACC UNIT UPDATE ).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS (see HOW TO CLEAR DTCS
).
Is DTC 199 indicated?
YES -Faulty ACC unit; replace the ACC unit (see ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL (ACC) UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ), then recheck.
NO -The update is complete.
