Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 5
NO: GO TO 2
- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect driver seat control unit and power seat switch LH.
- Check continuity between driver seat control unit harness connector and power seat switch LH harness connector.CONTINUITY REFERENCE CHART

YES: GO TO 3
NO: Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK DRIVER SEAT CONTROL UNIT OUTPUT
- Connect the driver seat control unit.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between driver seat control unit harness connector and ground.
VOLTAGE REFERENCE CHARTDriver seat control unit connector Terminals Voltage (V) (Approx.) (+) (-) B203 8 Ground Battery voltage 24 Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 4
NO: Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
- CHECK SLIDING SWITCH
Refer to "COMPONENT INSPECTION ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 5
NO: Replace power seat switch LH. Refer to "DRIVER SIDE: DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY ".
- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Refer to "INTERMITTENT INCIDENT ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace driver seat control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
