Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove camshaft. Refer to "REMOVAL ".
  2. Remove intake manifold. Refer to "REMOVAL ".
  3. Remove exhaust manifold. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
  4. Remove water inlet and thermostat assembly. Refer to "REMOVAL ".
  5. Remove water outlet, water pipe and heater pipe. Refer to "REMOVAL ".
  6. Remove cylinder head bolts in reverse order as shown below using commercial service tool and power tool to remove cylinder heads (right and left banks).

    Tool number : (J-24239-01)

  7. Remove cylinder head gaskets.
