DTC Confirmation Test "A"

NOTE: Ensure battery voltage is greater than 10.5 volts with ignition on before performing confirmation procedure.

Malfunction is detected when Idle Air Control Valve-Auxiliary Air Control (IACV-AAC) valve does not operate properly. Possible causes are:

IACV-AAC valve circuit open.
Defective IACV-AAC valve.

To set DTC, turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Wait at least 2 seconds. If first trip DTC is detected, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .
