Diagnostic Procedure

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Perform DTC CONFIRMATION TEST again. If first trip DTC set, go to next step. If first trip DTC is not set, test is complete.
Turn ignition off. Replace ECM. Perform the following:
- Perform initialization of NVIS (NATS) system and registration of all NVIS (NATS) ignition key IDs. See IMMOBILIZER SYSTEMS under DOORS, LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT in ACCESSORIES & BODY, CAB article.
- Perform ACCELERATOR PEDAL RELEASED POSITION LEARNING PROCEDURE .
- Perform THROTTLE VALVE CLOSED POSITION LEARNING PROCEDURE .
- Perform IDLE AIR VOLUME LEARNING PROCEDURE . Inspection is complete.
