Removal (For Deployment Only)

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Remove appropriate seat from vehicle. Remove seat back trim and pad. Remove seat backboard. Remove side air bag module wire harness clips. Remove nuts securing side air bag module to seat back frame. Remove side air bag module. See Figure .
