Removal & Installation

- Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM . Remove appropriate seat belt pretensioner. See SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER .
- Remove and discard 2 nuts securing satellite sensor to B-pillar. Disconnect satellite sensor connector. Remove satellite sensor. See Fig 1 .
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten NEW satellite sensor nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
