DTC Confirmation Test "B" & "C"

Malfunction is detected when IACV-AAC valve does not operate properly. Possible causes are:

Open hood. Start engine and warm to normal operating temperature. Turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Start engine and let idle for at least one minute. If first trip DTC is set, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If first trip DTC is not set, problem may be intermittent. See TESTING PROCEDURE  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
