DTC Confirmation Test "A"

Malfunction "A" is detected when PCM receives an excessively low or high voltage from IAT sensor. Possible causes are:

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select DATA MONITOR. Wait at least 5 seconds. If a first trip DTC is retrieved, perform DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE  . If first trip DTC is not retrieved, go to next DTC confirmation test.
