Front Door Switch LH Circuit Inspection

CHECK DOOR SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
With CONSULT-II

Check door switch ("DOOR SW-DR") in "DATA MONITOR" mode with CONSULT-II.

Without CONSULT-II

Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

OK or NG
- OK: Front door switch LH is OK.
- NG: GO TO 2.
CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH LH CIRCUIT
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect front door switch LH and BCM.
3. Check continuity between front door switch LH connector B8 terminal 2 and BCM connector M18 terminal 62.
  2 (SB) - 62 (SB): Continuity should exist.
4. Check continuity between door switch LH connector B8 terminal 2 and ground.
  2 (SB) - Ground: Continuity should not exist.
OK or NG
- OK: GO TO 3.
- NG: Repair or replace harness.

CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH LH
Check continuity between front door switch LH terminal 2 and body ground part of door switch.

OK or NG
- OK: Further inspection is necessary. Refer to SYMPTOM CHART .
- NG: Replace front door switch LH.
