DTC Confirmation Test

NOTE: If DTC confirmation procedure had been previously run, turn ignition off and wait at least 10 seconds before continuing. Before performing following procedure, ensure that battery voltage is 11 volts or more with engine at idle speed.

Turn ignition on. Select DATA MONITOR with scan tool. Start engine and wait at least 8 seconds. If 1st trip DTC is detected, go to DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE . If 1st trip DTC is not detected, system is okay at this time.
