Oil Pressure Warning Lamp Does Not Turn Off (Oil Pressure Is Normal)

NOTE: For oil pressure inspection refer to "OIL PRESSURE CHECK ".
  1. CHECK IPDM E/R OUTPUT SIGNAL 
    1. Disconnect oil pressure switch connector.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON.
    3. Check voltage between oil pressure switch harness connector F106 terminal + (P/L) and ground.

    Battery voltage should exist. 

    OK or NG

    1. OK: GO TO 2.
    2. NG: GO TO  3 .

  2. CHECK OIL PRESSURE SWITCH 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Check oil pressure switch. Refer to OIL PRESSURE SWITCH  .

      OK or NG

      1. OK: Replace the IPDM E/R. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF IPDM E/R ".
      2. NG: Replace the oil pressure switch.
  3. CHECK OIL PRESSURE SWITCH CIRCUIT 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Disconnect IPDM E/R connector.
    3. Check continuity between IPDM E/R harness connector E121 terminal 57 (P/L) and ground.
      1. Continuity should not exist. 

      OK or NG

      1. OK: Replace the IPDM E/R. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION OF IPDM E/R ".
      2. NG: Repair harness or connector.
