Fuel Tank Sending Unit Test
- Remove sending unit from fuel tank. Measure resistance between terminals "G" (+) and "E" (-) of sending unit connector. On models with a sub fuel gauge, use terminal "G1" for main fuel tank gauge and "G2" for sub fuel tank gauge. See Figure.
- Resistance values should change as position of fuel gauge is changed. Resistance values should be about equal to those on FUEL TANK SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE chart.
