All Display Segments Fail To Illuminate

  1. Perform POWER UNIT CHECK  . To check power source circuit to power unit, measure voltage between control unit terminal No. 19 (+) and No. 16 (-), and No. 20 (+) and No. 16 (-). If results are not okay, check wire harness between fuse and power unit. If results are okay, check power source circuit for control unit.
  2. To do so, turn ignition switch to "OFF" position. Disconnect harness connector from control unit. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position. Measure voltage between terminal No. 3 (+) and No. 15 (-), or No. 14 (+) and No. 15 (-). If results are not okay, check wire harness between fuse and control unit. If results are okay, proceed to step 3).
  3. Perform DISPLAY UNIT CHECK  . If results are not okay, proceed to step 4). If results are okay, check power source circuit for control unit. Measure voltage between control unit connector terminal No. 14 (+) and No. 15 (-). If results are not okay, replace power unit. If results are okay, replace control unit.
  4. Perform POWER UNIT CHECK  . To check power unit output to display unit, measure voltage between terminal VDD (Red) and GND (Black). If results are okay, replace control unit. If results are not okay, replace power unit.
