Hub Bolt Replacement

Required Special Tools: 

• MB990767: Front Hub and Flange Yoke Holder
  • MB991618: Hub Bolt Remover

1. Remove the brake caliper assembly and the brake disk. Retain the brake caliper assembly with a wire and the like to prevent from falling. (Refer to REAR AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY  and REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS  .)
2. Use special tool MB991618 to remove the hub bolt.

3. After fixing the hub using special tool MB990767, install the plain washer to the new hub bolt, and tighten the bolt with a nut.
4. Install the brake disk, brake caliper assembly and tighten the brake caliper assembly mounting bolts to the specified torque (Refer to REAR AXLE HUB ASSEMBLY  and REMOVAL SERVICE POINTS  ).
