DTC C1704: LDW CAMERA high temperature: Diagnosis

Recheck for diagnostic trouble code. 

Follow the procedure below to check whether the LDW-ECU stores DTC No. C1704.

  1. Move the vehicle to the cool place which is not subject to bright sunlight in order to cool down the LDW camera.
  2. Erase the DTC.
  3. Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
  4. Check if the DTC is stored.

Q: Is the DTC stored? 

  1. YES:  Replace the LDW-ECU.
  2. NO:  The diagnosis is complete.
