DTC C1703: LDW CAMERA not Initialization: Diagnosis

- STEP 1. Check the camera mounted surface on the windshield.
Visually check the LDW camera mounted surface on the windshield for scratch, cracks, contamination or drain drops.
Q: Is the check result normal?
- YES: Initialize the LDW camera. (Refer to HOW TO INITIALIZE THE LDW CAMERA ). Then go to Step 2.
- NO: Windshield glass replacement (Refer to WINDSHIELD GLASS REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .)
- STEP 2. Recheck for diagnostic trouble code.
Check if the DTC No. C1703 is stored in LDW-ECU.
- Turn the ignition switch from the LOCK (OFF) position to the ON position.
- Check if the DTC is stored.
Q: Is the DTC stored?
- YES: Replace the LDW-ECU.
- NO: This diagnosis is complete.
