DTC C1752: ACC/FCM Radar Temperature out of Range: Diagnosis

STEP 1. Check the radar temperature (high or low).
1. Turn the ignition switch to "LOCK" (OFF) position and then wait for a while so that the radar at the ACC/FCM-ECU remains at appropriate temperature.
  CAUTION: To prevent damage to scan tool (M.U.T.-III), always turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-III).
2. Connect scan tool (M.U.T.-III). Refer to "HOW TO CONNECT THE SCAN TOOL (M.U.T.-III) ."
3. Turn the ignition switch to the "ON" position.
4. Erase the diagnostic trouble code.
5. Check if the diagnostic trouble code is stored.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the "LOCK" (OFF) position.
Q: Is diagnostic trouble code No. C1752 stored?
1. YES: Go to Step 2
2. NO: This diagnosis is complete (Protection is deactivated)
STEP 2. Scan tool (M.U.T.-III) data list
Check the following data list (Refer to DATA LIST REFERENCE TABLE ).
- Item No.02: Radar temperature
Q: Is the check result normal?
1. YES: Intermittent malfunction (Refer to HOW TO COPE WITH INTERMITTENT MALFUNCTION ).
2. NO: Replace the ACC/FCM-ECU (Refer to ACC/FCM-ECU ).
