Trouble Symptom Chart

TROUBLE SYMPTOM CHART

Trouble symptom Inspection Procedure
Power is not turned ON when the power switch is turned ON. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 1: POWER IS NOT TURNED ON WHEN THE POWER SWITCH IS TURNED ON. 
No sound is heard. <Vehicles with audio amplifier> Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 2: NO SOUND IS HEARD. <VEHICLES WITH AUDIO AMPLIFIER> 
No sound is heard from one of the speakers. < Vehicles without audio amplifier> Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 3: NO SOUND IS HEARD FROM ONE OF THE SPEAKERS. <VEHICLES WITHOUT AUDIO AMPLIFIER> 
< Vehicles with audio amplifier> Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 3: NO SOUND IS HEARD FROM ONE OF THE SPEAKERS. <VEHICLES WITH AUDIO AMPLIFIER> 
The audio does not operate normally by operating the radio and CD player of the center panel unit. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 4: THE AUDIO DOES NOT OPERATE NORMALLY BY OPERATING THE RADIO AND CD PLAYER OF THE CENTER PANEL UNIT. 
Audio illuminations does not work normally. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 5: AUDIO ILLUMINATIONS DOES NOT WORK NORMALLY. 
The sound of external input are not played. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 6: THE SOUND OF EXTERNAL INPUT ARE NOT PLAYED. 
Noise Noise is present while moving (AM). Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 7: NOISE IS PRESENT WHILE MOVING (AM). 
Noise is present while moving (FM). Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 8: NOISE IS PRESENT WHILE MOVING (FM). 
Sound mixed with noise, only at night (AM). Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 9: SOUND MIXED WITH NOISE, ONLY AT NIGHT (AM). 
Broadcasts can be heard but both AM and FM have a lot of Noise. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 10: BROADCASTS CAN BE HEARD BUT BOTH AM AND FM HAVE A LOT OF NOISE. 
There is more noise on either AM or FM. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 11: THERE IS MORE NOISE ON EITHER AM OR FM. 
Noise is present while moving (FM). Refer to Inspection Procedure 12: Noise is present while moving (FM) 
Noise appears during vibration or shocks. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 13: NOISE APPEARS DURING VIBRATION OR SHOCKS. 
Noise is detected with engine running. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 14: NOISE IS DETECTED WITH ENGINE RUNNING. 
Constant noise. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 15: CONSTANT NOISE. 
Radio Noise comes out, but neither AM nor FM Sounds. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 16: NOISE COMES OUT, BUT NEITHER AM NOR FM SOUNDS. 
Poor reception. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 17: POOR RECEPTION. 
Distortion on AM or on both AM and FM. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 18: DISTORTION ON AM OR ON BOTH AM AND FM. 
Distortion on FM only. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 19: DISTORTION ON FM ONLY. 
Using the Auto Select Function, Too Few Automatic Stations are Selected. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 20: USING THE AUTO SELECT FUNCTION, TOO FEW AUTOMATIC STATIONS ARE SELECTED. 
Preset stations are erased. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 21: PRESET STATION ARE ERASED. 
CD player CD cannot be inserted. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 22: CD CAN NOT BE INSERTED. 
No sound. (CD only) Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 23: NO SOUND. (CD ONLY) 
CD sound skips. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 24: CD SOUND SKIPS. 
Sound quality is poor. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 25: SOUND QUALITY IS POOR. 
CD cannot be ejected. Refer to INSPECTION PROCEDURE 26: CD CAN NOT BE EJECTED.
