  1. Apply ATF on a new locknut, and use special tool MD998834 to tighten the specified torque. Then turn back on turn, and tighten to the specified torque.

    Tightening torque: 170 ± 10 N.m (125 ± 7 ft-lb)

  2. Use a punch to stake the lock nut at two places.
