Removing and installing/replacing power window switch (driver's side)

Special tools required: 

IMPORTANT: Carry out the following operation carefully so as to avoid damaging the door trim panel and switch.
If necessary, tape off working area.

Removal: 

Press cover (1) in marked area toward the bottom.

Feed out cover (1) towards top.

Remove screw (1).

Lift the power window switch (1) out of the armrest (2) in arrow direction using special tool 00 9 327.

Unlock plug connection underneath and disconnect.

Replacement: 

Release the detents on both sides and feed the power window switch (1) out of the trim (2).

Clip in the power window switch spare part (2) into the trim (1).

NOTE: Ensure the power window switch (2) engages correctly in the trim (1).

Installation: 

NOTE: Clips must not be damaged or missing.

Connect associated connector.

Feed in and clip in the power window switch (1) into the armrest (2).

NOTE: Make sure the power window switch (1) is correctly fitted in the armrest (2).

Tighten screw (1).
