33 32 077 Removing and installing/replacing top right wishbone (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove REAR WHEEL .
• Removing the RIGHT TANK COVER .

Removal: 

Only for right ride height sensor:

Loosen screws (1) for attachment rod on the control arm.

Remove cable (2) from holder (1).

Release nut and remove screw (2).

Release nut and remove screw (1).

Take off wishbone.

Installation note: 

Tighten the screw connection (1) in the NORMAL POSITION .

Installation: 

Align wishbone (3).

Replace screw (2) and nut.

Insert screw (2) and tighten nut.

Tightening torque 33 32 3AZ .

Parts:  Bolt, nut

Replace screw (1) and nut.

Insert bolt (1) and screw on nut.

• Do not yet tighten to specified torque

Bring the vehicle to the NORMAL POSITION .

Tighten the nut of the screw (2) in the normal position.

Tightening torque, 33 32 1AZ .

Parts:  Bolt, nut

Secure cable (2) on wishbone.

Only for right ride height sensor:

Tighten screws (1) for attachment rod on the control arm.

Tightening torque 37 14 5AZ .

Required follow-up work: 

• Mounting the RIGHT TANK COVER .
• Install REAR WHEEL .
• Perform CHASSIS/WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK .
