33 32 076 Removing and installing/replacing top left wishbone (Countryman models with AWD, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove REAR WHEEL .
• Remove exhaust system.

Removal: 

Remove heat shield (1).

Remove cable (2) from holder (1).

Release nut and remove screw (1).

Release nut and remove screw (2).

Remove wishbone (3).

Installation note: 

Tighten screw connection (1) and (2) in NORMAL POSITION .

Installation: 

Align wishbone (3).

Part:  Replace nut.

Insert bolt (1) and screw on nut.

• Do not yet tighten to specified torque!

Part:  Replace nut.

Insert bolt (2) and screw on nut.

• Do not yet tighten to specified torque!

Shift vehicle into NORMAL POSITION .

Tighten nut of bolt (1) and (2) in normal position.

Tightening torque 33 32 1AZ .

Tightening torque 33 32 3AZ .

Secure cable (2) on wishbone.

Mount heat shield (1).

Required follow-up work: 

• Install exhaust system.
• Install REAR WHEEL .
• Perform wheel alignment. Refer to 32 00 150 KDS CHASSIS/WHEEL ALIGNMENT CHECK WITH VEHICLE LOAD UP TO DESIGN POSITION (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) or 32 00 155 KINEMATICS DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM WHEEL ALIGNMENT WITH RIDE HEIGHT MEASUREMENT WITHOUT LOADING THE VEHICLE (COUNTRYMAN 2017-2023, EXCEPT PHEV) .
