65 11 080 Removing and installing (replacing) radio - V.1 (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Important: 

Read and comply with notes on PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE (ESD PROTECTION) !

Important: 

Carry out the installation in a dust-free workshop area only.

To avoid damage, do not tap or dirty the display area.

Preliminary work needed: 

• Remove CENTRAL INSTRUMENT .

Removal: 

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Remove the central instrument with the radio (2).

Replacement: 

Loosen screws (1).

Remove the radio (2) from the central instrument (3).

Installation: 

Replacement: 

Properly position the radio (2) on the central instrument (3).

Tighten down screws (1).

Join the plug connections (1) to the central instrument with the radio (2) and lock it.

Required reworking: 

• Install CENTRAL INSTRUMENT .
