61 31 253 Removing and installing/replacing switch for assistance system (Countryman 2017-2023, except PHEV)

Preliminary work needed:

REMOVING CENTRAL INSTRUMENT .

Removal:

Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).

Release switch for assistance system (2) at the metal clamps and press out of central instrument.

Installation:

NOTE: The latching clamps on the switch for assistance system (1) must not be missing or damaged.
Make sure that the switch for assistance system (2) is correctly engaged.

Install switch for assistance system (2) in the central instrument.

Connect connector (1) with the switch for assistance system (2).
