Removing the head restraint

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVING THE REAR PANEL FROM THE FRONT SEAT BACKREST .
• Refer to REMOVING THE TRIM AT THE BOTTOM OF THE APERTURE .

• Loosen screw (1).

• Unclip impact plate (1) in the marked areas (2) using the special tool 2 298 505 .
• Feed out the impact plate (1) from the support (3) and remove.

• Push the lock (1) and pull out and remove the head restraint (2) in the arrow direction.
