52 26 086 Removing and installing/replacing backrest frame for left or right rear seat (Cooper 2-door hatchback models, 2020-2023)

WARNING: Injury hazard!
The seat frame has very sharp edges that can cause injuries from cuts.
Exercise extreme caution and wear work gloves as required when carrying out any repair work in the area of the seat frame.

Preliminary work needed:

REMOVING REAR PANEL ON REAR SEAT BACKREST, LEFT OR RIGHT .
REMOVING GUIDE SLEEVES FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT .

Removal:

Lever out welt (1).

Feed out backrest frame (1) from seat cover and remove.

Replacement:

Remount LOCKING FOR REAR SEAT BACKREST .

Installation:

Feed in backrest frame (1) into seat cover.

Attach welt (1).

Required reworking:

INSTALLING REAR PANEL ON REAR SEAT BACKREST, LEFT OR RIGHT .
INSTALLING GUIDE SLEEVES FOR LEFT OR RIGHT HEAD RESTRAINT .
