Front Panel Installation Procedure Rep-Rep-RAF5641-4133XX1 - V.6 (Cooper 4-Door Hatchback And 2-Door Hatchback, 2020-2023)

To avoid unnecessary adjustment work, apply the following procedure.

Observe FRAME REFERENCE BODY DIMENSION REP-UEB-RAF5541-4106100 - V.1 (COOPER 4-DOOR HATCHBACK, 2020-2023) .

Step 1: Setting of deformation element. Refer to 51 11 761 REMOVE AND INSTALL/REPLACE DEFORMATION ELEMENT FOR FRONT RIGHT BUMPER REP-REP-RAF5651-5111761 - V.6 (COOPER BASE 4-DOOR HATCHBACK, COOPER S 4-DOOR HATCHBACK, COOPER BASE 2-DOOR HATCHBACK, COOPER S 2-DOOR HATCHBACK, COOPER JCW 2-DOOR HATCHBACK, COOPER JCW GP 2-DOOR HATCHBACK) .

Set the deformation element (1) so that the areas (3) are parallel.

NOTE: The deformation element cannot be height-adjusted because of the stop (2).

Step 2: Setting of "cross connection support. Refer to 41 33 731 REPLACE GIRDER OF RIGHT CROSS CONNECTION REP-REP-RAF5641-4133731 - V.4 (Cooper 4-door hatchback and 2-door hatchback, 2020-2023) "

Set the cross connection support (1) according to the specified dimensions.

Dimension a = approx. 3 mm.

NOTE: If the cross connection support is removed on only one side of the vehicle, measure dimension a on the side where it has not been removed and apply it as the setting dimension.

Tighten all screw connections with TIGHTENING TORQUE .
