It is paramount to replace the radial shaft seal each time the output shaft is removed.

NOTE:
The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
- Unlock and disconnect the plug connection (1) on the ride height sensor (2).
- Loosen screw (3).
- Release the ride height sensor (2) with the holder from the front subframe.
- Turn swivel bearing (1) outwards.
- Cover the front subframe with a cloth (2).
- Place the right output shaft (3) to the side in the arrow direction.
- Mount special tool 5 A1C 567 on the right output shaft (1).
- Electric machine transmission must be protected against damage with a suitable tool (1).
- Push the right output shaft (2) out of the electric machine transmission jerkily with a standard tool (3) and the special tool 5 A1C 567
.
- Feed out the right output shaft (1) in the arrow direction and remove.
